Haley Melcher is a dedicated and motivated professional with over 12 years of experience in event management, community relations, and guest services across a variety of venues. Her background includes roles at the Ohio Statehouse, Nationwide Arena, and The Country Club at Muirfield Village. Haley earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Administration from Lock Haven University, where she also excelled as a four-year student-athlete on the school’s Division II volleyball team.
Currently, Haley serves as the Development Director for Special Olympics Ohio, where she combines her passion for community engagement with her extensive event management expertise. Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, including her husband, John, their 2.5-year-old daughter, Lyla, Aussie doodle, Ellie, and tuxedo cat, Leia. Since Lyla's diagnosis of Angelman Syndrome at 14 months old, she has been actively involved with Easterseals, a journey that began in April 2024. Haley is excited to continue to showcase her commitment to advocacy and support families in similar situations.
